dumpster diving paid off well today: 3.3lb pork ribs, a quart of blueberry yogurt with active cultures (gallons if I could have carried it), and a big box of baby spinach leaves. picked up about 10 figs, drops from the tree near the high school, some of which I used as a "barbecue sauce" for the ribs, and the rest which I'll probably snack on. not the healthiest foods, but probably not as bad as the sausages I've been eating, and sure will be a lot tastier. plus you can't beat the price.
