Hopefully I behaved well at cusp. Rather than attempt to deal with a problem when everything I said or didn't say seemed to exacerbate it, I got out of the car a few miles south of downtown Tucson and walked back into town alone. I'm sitting in the Heart Five having a pint of Guinness and ruminating on the past, present, and possible futures. Hopefully will find some wireless access later on tonight if I'm sober enough to accomplish anything.
